A Non Government Organization is registered as a Society under Indian Societies Act 1860. It takes a time period of 1.5 to 2 months for the registration of Society from the date of filing of the application. Minimum 8 members are required in the formation of Society and all those 8 members should belong to different state for a national level NGO formation. There is a strict rule in Society formation that a family member can never be a member of a Society. For ngo registration in delhi, one has to provide one member from Delhi with Aadhar Card along with one address proof either electricity bill or water bill of any authorized area in Delhi. In society registration, property papers are also required. At the time of registration, 2 photographs and address proofs of all the members are required. Voter id card, passport, driving license or aadhar card can be submitted as an address proof.
Further, at the time of registration, two members are required for witness who must have aadhar card from Delhi. The Society can work in entire India.
